Once taken prisoner by the French pirates and sold in a brothel in the next island when she was barely 14 or almost 14 (you choose the island)… it is up to you how she later escaped her fate and the brothel and what she has become now.

Her personality and history after the age of 14 are completely up to you, and any dark-haired Spanish or Latino playby would do. (Salma Hayek, Elisabeth Gutierrez, Rudy Rodriguez, Penelope Cruz, are only suggestions. If you know a better one, why not!)

My Amber Heard character is a gifted human. She has the power of ressurection. It makes her immortal in a way, with some setbacks. It works kind of like how a phoenix can rise from the ashes. However, she can’t remember her past with each new resurrection she has. I am requesting her first love, a vampire who has been in her life twice. The last time she saw him, she died in his arms, and it’ll be quite a shock to him to see her alive for a third time. The request link is below, please make him!

put in bay is an island off the coast of lake erie! though small doesn’t even begin to describe the island, that doesn’t mean it’s not packed with adventure and excitement. everyone knows that the island is the place to be. it’s where all the scandal and craziness occurs, where all your wildest memories are made. during the summer is when most of the insanity begins, when all the tourists come rolling in to live in their fancy summer homes for the season. when the temperature starts to drop, so does the population, granted that only two hundred people officially call the bay their home. a lot, but not all, of the tourists pack up and head home. but don’t let that fool you, we get crazy all year around. everyone is here and everyone has a secret. we all know that secrets in a small town don’t stay secret for very long, so watch your back. go get packed and get your ass back to put in bay, we’ve all been waiting to shake things up.

It’s too late to check the closet or look under the bed for monsters.

It wasn’t to long ago vampires made themselves known to the world, trying to live among humans without causing to much trouble. Alongside the vampires are witches, lycans, and vampire hunters. Then you of course can’t forget the humans, still hesitant on the new creatures coming into their world. There are rules now, rules that cannot be broken, and if they are there will be severe consequences.

Times of Envy is Officially Open!

America never won the revolution. Instead, George Washington held a private meeting with the English crown and struck a deal. The American colonies would have relative autonomy, becoming a part of the commonwealth and paying a yearly tax. Washington never became president and, instead, became the first Lord of America. When he died, the title transferred over to John Adams and was going to be passed down through his family as they settled in Washington DC. No longer Lord, but King, John Adams and his family ruled over America and the expanding territories. The strong reign hasn’t been all sunshine and roses. There’s corruption in the court and the monarch’s aren’t known for getting along with the royal advisors. Furthermore, the American Revolutionary Movement has been growing for years and there’s speculation that they’re going to try to over-throw the crown. The constant clash of culture: the wants of the royals and monarchs makes one thing clear. These are Times of Envy.

Survival. A basic instinct in most living beings. In our comfortable world, we may not feel the need for it often, but where I am taking you, you WILL need it. In a far away region, conflict stirs in the air and each step you take is more dangerous than your previous one.

In the South, vast deserts and hostile landscape make life a challenge even to the hardest people. There, a large desert empire has been seeking to free itself from the oppressing kingdom in the North.

In the North, snowclad mountains and razorsharp rocks make death an everyday thing. And in the middle, where the two nations meet, there are constant raids, attacks and high tension. Here flint axes meet the brutal force of gunpowder rifles, and the struggle is hardest.

In the lands beneath the DARK SUN, what road will you take to survive? How long will you go to be free?

It’s 1719 in the West Indies. War time, and pirates are also on the prowl. Sea fights, duels, plenty of swashbuckling adventures, intrigues of all kinds, mutiny, romance, betrayal - Before the Mast brings to live the Age of Sail like none before. Which side are you on?

OUR SHIPS NEED MORE CREW!

- a surgeon/ doctor, 28-55 years of age, from middle to upper class, not from nobility or a too rich family. (He might be younger, but then he is a surgeon’s mate, an apprentice) needed by the British Navy.

- 3 master gunners - 30-45 years of age, experienced artillery soldier, deployed with the marines. A veteran of the War of Spanish Succession, which he could have fought in on land or at sea. From a poor to middle class family, with some schooling, needed by the British Navy, French Navy and by the privateers.

- one boatswain - 30-45 years of age, from a poor to middle class family, with some schooling and with authority over the sailors (preferably because he can impose naturally) needed by the British Navy.

- 2 midshipmen - 14-18 years of age, sons of noble or wealthy families with high connections, needed by the British Navy and by the French Navy.

- sailors - as many as possible, anywhere between the ages of 15 and 50, volunteers or victims of the press gang (for the British and French Navy). Privateers are only volunteers. Among them, a jovial older mentor would be welcome, a roguish man in his 20s, and any other types you might wish.

For details on the tasks of each position, check the ship ranks and tasks.

We hope you love drama, action and romance, because that’s what we have to offer here. Being a part of our crews will give you the opportunity to get involved in sea battles, duels, political intrigues and all kind of adventures. The plot will further develop according to your wishes, as, besides the general plot/ laying, there are several player-driven side ones. Your characters will have crewmates, finding among them friends or enemies, and plots to enter in immediately. The pirates are clearly the enemy, and we have many stories still left to be told…

Additional Information/Notes:
The requirements are simple - people who can write in English (not all our players are native English speakers, but they can write in English) and who can post at least once a week for each character/ thread.

Taking place on Earth, a third World War has started, using Mechas as weapons—androids with the ability to transform into mobile suits. Two factions control Earth, the Atlantic Alliance and Eurasian Alliance, while a Rebel group of jaded civilians and defected soldiers is slowly forming to put an end to the fighting. There are still a few neutral countries who refuse to fight, but how long will they last?

Join the Atlantic Alliance or Eurasian Alliance to become the top faction, ruling the world in weapons and technology. If black and white isn’t your thing, go gray and become a rebel. Not a fighter? Neutral countries remain out of the conflict, working towards peace and an end to the destruction of Earth.
